What one self-filled cigarette costs you comes down to three numbers: what you pay for your tobacco, what you pay for your tubes, and how much tobacco goes into each cigarette. Change any of the three and your cost per cigarette changes with it.
What determines your cost per cigarette
- The price you pay per 100g of tobacco.
- The price you pay per tube.
- How many grams of tobacco go into one cigarette, usually somewhere between 0.6 and 0.7.
